Clean & Inspect Chimney Systems Service:
Preventive maintenance is always more cost-effective than repairs that could have been avoided. Annual inspections are critical for chimneys used regularly, but even if used occasionally, a chimney system should be routinely inspected and cleaned if necessary. Your system includes the appliance, any necessary connecting pipe and the chimney itself.
Inspections and cleanings include:
- Determine chimney integrity for all types of fuel
- Catch problems early, before they cause expensive trouble
- Show changes over time, like seeing a dentist regularly
- Reassure peace of mind
- Save money, hassles and potential lawsuits if the property is for sale or rent
- Are very neat. We guarantee no mess!
Repair Chimney Fire Damage Service:
Chimney tile liners can crack during a chimney fire, and can be repaired by relining. A look at the inside of this chimney shows how fire has attacked this flue. The original clay liner has eroded away; pieces of it are even missing. In severe cases, the chimney erosion will lead to partial or complete internal collapse, blocking the flue and sending these poisonous gases into the home.
But fortunately, the problems of a deteriorating wood or fireplace flue can be corrected. Relining involves inserting a new central lining or flue inside an existing chimney. It is the most effective, affordable way to repair chimney damage or to upgrade an unlined, dangerous chimney to acceptable safety standards. The repair is completed quickly and with minimal expense compared to rebuilding the chimney from the ground up.
There are approximately 40 million masonry chimneys in North America, and the most common problem with these structures is water penetration. All new and existing masonry chimneys are susceptible to water damage and, even if repaired, chimneys will continue to deteriorate if they are not protected.
ChimneySaver®, & Crown Coat™, are the first water repellents specifically developed to protect chimneys from the severe weather conditions to which they are exposed.
ChimneySaver® is a water repellent, not a water sealer. The difference could save you hundreds, or even thousands, of dollars in repairs because sealers can actually damage masonry. Unlike waterproofing sealers that remain on the surface and trap water vapors, SaverSystems products penetrate deep enough to protect masonry from destructive water penetration.

Bellfires are committed to providing you with the best open hearth fireplace experience possible. There is no comparison to a real wood burning fireplace, and absolutely no comparison to a Bellfires® Refractory Fireplace. Humankind has evolved with real wood fire, and the quality of light rays and heat radiated from a wood fire cannot be imitated by a controlled gas flame piped in from…who knows where.
The crackling of burning logs and the gentle glow of wood flames – all combined to provide the peace and relaxation we are looking for at the end of a cold winter’s eve. Start a real fire today with Bellfires Efficient open hearth fireplaces. We have fireplaces for new construction, remodeling and retrofit/repair of existing units. Artisan mantles in stock to complete your showpiece.
Chimney Caps & Top Sealing Fireplace Dampers
Eliminate moisture damage. Moisture entering your chimney erodes masonry and mortar joints and will cause damper and firebox rust-out that leads to expensive repairs. The Chimney Top protects your flue from moisture damage.
Prevent bird and animal invasion. Chimney tops protect your chimney from nesting birds, squirrels, raccoons, and other disease-carrying animals.
Protect against airborne embers and sparks. The Chimney Top’s 18-gauge mesh reduces the risk of fires caused by airborne embers and sparks escaping from your chimney flue.
Guard against flue blockage. Leaves and debris entering a chimney may cause a flue blockage. This can lead to fire, smoke damage, and even carbon monoxide poisoning. The Chimney Top guards against these dangers.
